About WLA
Built to Own Africa's
Entertainment Future
We incorporated in May 2026 with one mandate: own, produce, and franchise Africa's first continental obstacle sports entertainment IP. Not an adaptation of a Western format - an original African format, built to travel.
Open to licensing across all 54 nations
Why This Exists
“What does a person become when they stop believing they can?”
We built Nigeria Next Warrior on that question. Everyone who has ever been told they are too old, too slow, too female, too northern, too southern, too poor - and chose to run anyway - is our audience, our contestant, and the reason this show exists.
The format travels because the question does. Every culture carries a version of that same cost. We're rooting it in Nigeria first, and building outward from there.
The Company
What WLA Entertainment Is
We're a private company limited by shares, registered with Nigeria's Corporate Affairs Commission. We own the Warriors League Africa format - the competition rules, gameplay mechanics, brand standards, and franchise licensing model.
Nigeria Next Warrior is our first edition - we produce and operate it directly. Every subsequent country franchise is licensed to a local partner who produces the show in their own territory, while we earn format fees and royalties without operating each market ourselves.
